With less than 24 hours to go before the biggest match in Bandits history we thought we'd all like to wish Nice guy Gerry and Bernie all the best for tomorrows 4BBB final at Wrag. The meteroric rise of our two seniors since retirement has been astounding and there won't be a dry eye in the house if they lift the Jam Jar tomorrow which we all fully expect them to do - the dreams of a nation (or about 20 fat blokes) are riding on your shoulders!

We caught up with our two hero's to discuss their preparation for such an important match especially as the conditions could be tricky with wind and rain forecast later tomorrow. Nice guy said "Yes I initially started practicing in the shower with hair dryer on - which was a bit stupid as I nearly f*cking electrocuted myself, but I've been on the range everyday practicing a few different of shots to ensure I can cope with any of the weather conditions that come our way, I've perfected the low scuff it along the floor shot so that should come in handy if the wind picks up. I'm going to take a fresh fluffy towel to dry my club grips as well as a spare glove should conditions get really bad. I'll be going through my usual exercise regime tonight and an early night will make sure I'm at my best. Yes I'll be nervous but you know what the say - Every time you go out there, you want to be a little nervous, have a little bit of butterflies in your stomach and get the juices flowing - and my juices are always flowing playing with Bernie"

Bernie responded slightly differently saying "I'm such a good golfer I don't need to practice, I'll go out tonight get bladdered and go and smash them tomorrow - I am that good, if its windy I'll play my windy game and if its wet i'll play my wet game, I'm adaptable. Tomorrow we will become legends, go down in Bandits history, lifting the Jam Jar will be a proud moment for everyone... Did I tell you how good I am?"
